God, I HATE the Homophobic Cornwall Police!!!

This is just the TIP of the iceberg of homophobic conduct & practises by the authorities in Cornwall, UK.

Part of the continung campaign against homophobia within Devon & Cornwall Constabulary.

Regarding - Equality and Human Rights Commission.

Human Rights Inquiry are carrying out an inquiry to find out how human rights work in Britain, in line with powers under section 16 of the Equality Act 2006. The inquiry was launched on 21 April 2008 and they expect to complete the process by December. They are now at the stage of gathering evidence for the inquiry.

They are calling for evidence from individuals, organisations and service providers, based on their experiences, positive and negative. They are commissioning research on specific areas that have been identified and will help with the inquiry. They also expect to use other methods, like inquiry panels to hear evidence from witnesses.

I have sent all three of the youtube video's about Peter Midwood, the formerly homeless 15yr old gay youth who was living rough on the streets of Helston, Cornwall, TO THE KNOWLEDGE of Cornwall police & social services to the HRC. Also sent them other video's about homophobia by the Cornish authorities.

Remember, this is the county where local cheap discount store 'TRAGO MILLS' once placed in their adverts in the local papers calling for " the castration of gay men to stop the spread of HIV/AIDS" (I won that complaint to the Advertising Standards Authority...eventually)

This is the county where youth's stoned Andrew Roger Smith when he was already blind, terminally ill from HIV/AIDS...and the Cornwall police response was...

"Your gay and one of you has AIDS...what do you expect?"
